Evie Rees, a star in the Fantasi universe, has spent years carving out her place as a bold and unapologetic figure in the industry.<\/p>\n

Though she\u2019s someone who\u2019s done\u00a0“done it all”<\/em>, she has a hard rule: her hair is completely off-limits.<\/p>\n

It might sound surprising coming from someone who\u2019s explored so many avenues in her career, but for Evie, this is non-negotiable.<\/p>\n

Originally from Wales, Evie recently explained why her hair is such a key\u00a0“part of her brand”<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The way it\u2019s styled is so particular that even the slightest interference could ruin the look she\u2019s so carefully created.<\/p>\n<\/article>\n

It\u2019s such a big deal for her that she once had to stop a shoot altogether after an actor\u00a0“grabbed a fistful”<\/em>.<\/p>\n

This was one of the rare moments in her career where she had to draw a firm boundary.<\/p>\n

There’s one important rule her colleagues have to follow<\/span>\u00a0Evie Rees<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Evie shared:\u00a0“My hair is the most ‘me’ part of me asides from how I dress, and it’s my favourite colour after all! It also makes me stand out, and adds to how memorable my brand is.”<\/em><\/p>\n

She elaborated further:\u00a0“If you see me at an event, you know it’s me, even from a distance. Half of my hair isn’t real, so the way I style it is very particular, and if it’s pulled\/messed up on set it can take ages to fix.”<\/em><\/p>\n<\/article>\n

Explaining the story behind her hair, she revealed:\u00a0“Basically a few years ago my GP changed a medication I was on, and it made most of my hair fall out within a few weeks.<\/em><\/p>\n

“So I ended up getting something called a hair system (pretty much a fancy toupe for women) so that my hair looked as close to how it did before as possible.”<\/em><\/p>\n<\/article>\n

“After about a year my natural hair grew back, but the added thickness of the hair piece means I don’t have to touch up my roots as often. Just meant I kind of never stopped using it!”<\/em><\/p>\n

Despite her strict rules around her hair, Evie is still open to embracing\u00a0“rough scenes”<\/em>\u00a0in her work.<\/p>\n

However, when it comes to her hair, she is very protective and ensures it stays exactly as she envisions.<\/p>\n

She believes it\u2019s not just about continuity but also about maintaining her image.<\/p>\n<\/article>\n

As she continues to create content, Evie is steadfast in her boundaries, explaining:\u00a0“You can spank me, do all sorts of things, but when it comes to my hair, hands off!”<\/em><\/p>\n

When asked if her appearance is essential because of her job, Evie responded:\u00a0“It’s less my role in the industry and more so my brand that it’s important for.<\/em><\/p>\n

“But having such a noticeable brand has definitely helped me solidify my place in the industry for sure.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Although she stands by her boundary, Evie admits that her approach to her hair sometimes draws criticism. Some people even joke that she\u2019s overly protective of it.<\/p>\n

Addressing this, Evie said people often comment on how much she values her hair, but she doesn\u2019t mind. For her, it\u2019s a part of who she is.<\/p>\n

She added:\u00a0“It’s a running joke among my friends. I’m like that with my make-up too though! However my current ‘fake’ hair is on clips and not sewn in, so I’ll occasionally let other people wear it and walk around looking like me which is hilarious!”<\/em><\/p>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
