In an interview with Fabulous, Olivia Messina shared that despite the negative comments, she flaunted her plus-size legs, belly rolls, size 22 body, and 44H bust in a revealing outfit and confidently moved her body.<\/p>\n

She said: \u201cI jiggled, wiggled, and shake around in my super skimpy outfit showing off my plus size legs, belly rolls, size 22 body and 44H b**bs.\u201d<\/h3>\n

\u201cI refuse to work out daily like the bullies tell me I should. If I did, I\u2019d end up like some people who lose weight and are unhappy with their bodies and lives \u2013 when I\u2019d much rather be fat and fabulous. I\u2019d lose my social media followers and income, and I\u2019d be miserable. By taking on my trolls and flaunting my size, I was showing them they could do their worst.\u201d<\/p>\n

Olivia Messina stated that she refused to conform to societal expectations of how her body should look and continued to confidently showcase her body as a plus-size woman, despite the negative comments.<\/p>\n

She added: \u201cWithin days, the video posted in June 2021 had racked up over five million views. I\u2019d gone viral and become a social media star. I was getting hundreds of thousands of messages of support from people all over the world telling me I was \u2018uber-glam,\u2019 inspirational, a Queen, and a Goddess.\u201d<\/p>\n

She received comments from some individuals telling her she was a bad influence and urging her to drink bleach, and was also called stupid.<\/h3>\n

\u201cThat makes me laugh because I have two university degrees including graduating in 2019 from York University in Canada with a Master\u2019s in Social Studies. I\u2019m not bothered by the criticism, people can say what they like. I won\u2019t be fat-shamed, plenty of people love the way I look; in fact, I get dozens of marriage proposals a week,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

Despite her current confidence, Olivia Messina\u2019s journey to self-love took over 25 years.<\/h3>\n

As a teenager, Olivia Messina was a size 16 at 14 years old. By the time she graduated high school in June 2013, her size had increased to 18-20.<\/p>\n

She said: \u201cI was always the \u2018fat friend\u2019 accepted by the girls because I was overweight and not a threat. Boys, especially young lads were viciously labelling me a cow, fat arse and lard butt. In July 2017 I was my heaviest, hitting 24st and at five foot nine which does make me technically morbidly obese with a score of 50. If you believe the BMI index that puts me at a greater risk of diabetes, heart disease and early death.\u201d<\/p>\n

Eventually, Olivia Messina came to understand that being skinny was not the key to happiness and that self-love, both inside and out, was necessary to be contented.<\/h3>\n

Currently, Olivia Messina is single. However, the men who have expressed interest in her have typically been athletic and of average build, and have expressed attraction to her plus-size figure.<\/p>\n

She said: \u201cThey can\u2019t get enough of my confidence and body positivity. And yes I often get jealous looks from girls struggling to work out why the man is dating me. I have thousands of big girls telling me I inspire them and they wish they could have confidence. I get frustrated because people automatically assume people who are plus size aren\u2019t healthy. I walk, I eat healthily, and in my opinion, obesity is a state of mind.\u201d<\/p>\n

Overall, Olivia Messina\u2019s career as a plus-size model is thriving. Her fans enjoy her body positivity, dance videos, makeup tutorials, and fashion styling.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
